Time: 7:00pm - 7:30pm
Socially-distanced? Yes
This online interactive workshop will give you an understanding of truck blindzones and how to ride more confidently when sharing the road with heavy vehicles.
Share the Road runs workshops for riders of all ages, styles and abilities where we invite people to get up into the drivers seat of a large truck to see the road from the drivers point of view. It’s a real eye opening experience and we recommend it for anyone who rides on the road.
Once we are out of lockdown we will be continuing our work out there connecting with people who go by bike and look forward to seeing you all again. If you are interested in hosting or participating in one of our workshops later we’d love to hear from you!

Bike Auckland AGM 2021
Date: November 28th, 2021
Time: 10am - 12pm
Socially-distanced? Yes
Bike Auckland members & supporters are warmly welcome at our AGM, which not only takes care of key business, but also famously highlights the year’s most exciting developments for people on bikes & gives you a peek of what’s on the horizon.
The 2021 Annual General Meeting will take place online – a link will be distributed to registered attendees prior to commencement.
2021 has been a huge year for Bike Auckland, and we’re excited for changes taking place as we shape the future of the organisation and Tāmaki Makaurau alike. We invite both members and subscribers to join us as we present on the year that was and the future that lies ahead.
This meeting will include presentations from our departing Chair, Barb Cuthbert, as well as key committee members and wider whānau. The session will also include an opportunity for Bike Auckland members to ratify essential business of the organisation. Please note that although we welcome anyone to attend the AGM, if you want to be able to vote you need to be a Bike Auckland member. You can sign up as a member through our website.
We recommend ensuring your membership with Bike Auckland is up to date. All members should have received an updated Bike Auckland constitution to their chosen email address, and we suggest reading this document in advance of the AGM.
The AGM will be presented online and is expected to take roughly 1.5 hours, however extra time has been allowed for discussion with members.
